Proven ways to lower fever?

Hi all! I'm curious which medicine you usually take for fever reduction.

So many medicines out there, such as acetaminophen, aspirin, or NSAIDs, so I want to know which one you personally find effective.
Are you more into OTC drugs or do you rely on traditional methods as well?
Also, how fast do they work for you? Would love to hear your thoughts!
