Why are there planes in the top banner of the forum?

I haven't yet gotten around to doing a proper logo yet, so we're currently using whatever came with the style by default.

A proper theme is what this place needs, I actually came to this post in order to suggest an icon (as it has none at the moment, you can see it in the browser tab or bookmarks). May I suggest the old theme of the MBN? Either the one with green grass and brown dirt from 2002, or the blue/purple one we had until now.
